VILE was filmed as part of 48Create 2024, a 48 hour filmmaking competition where the entire conception to completion was done within a short weekend.

VILE won five awards at 48Create: Best Cinematography, Best Actor, Creator's Choice, People's Choice, and Best Film, two film festival selections, and Best Inclusive Film at Reale Film Festival.
